A Dangerous Misogynist, Andrew Tate has been Banned from Insta & Facebook
The Platform took this decision for Violating Meta Policies “On Dangerous Organizations and Individuals”, the company confirmed by email
Andrew Tate is a former Kickboxer and Reality TV star.
Tate’s Notoriety surged when a video of him beating a woman surfaced over the social media. He has appeared on TV show Big brother in 2016.
Controversial social media influencer has self-described as a misogynist.
Matt Bernstein, a queer content creator, labelled Tate's online presence as "hazardous" in a popular Instagram post last week.
Bernstein cited Tate's violent, anti-gay, and misogynistic remarks made throughout his multiple podcast appearances.
Last couple of weeks, his viral video clip featuring highly offensive comments about the women made him anti-woman
He stated women as “Property” and also tweeted on 2017 that rape victims should take “some responsibility” for being sexually assaulted.
Ruth Davison, CEO of Refuge, supports the decision of Meta for banning Tate’s account.
Twitter has already banned him permanently from the platform. Tik Tok also removed his account
Tate had total 4.7 million followers, 2 million of whom he acquired in the last 30 days.
