Jason Aldean after his wife’s transphobic comments dropped by PR firm

After his wife Brittany Aldean's recent transphobic remarks, country musician Jason Aldean's 17-year PR firm fired him

The public relations company for Jason Aldean has declared it will no longer represent the country star

After 17 years, Nashville-based PR firm The GreenRoom no longer represents the "Got What I Got" hitmaker as a client

The GreenRoom believes that going future, the company is not the right one to represent him

The GreenRoom's primary focus has always been and will always be music, so we had to make the difficult choice, Tyne Parrish, the co-owner of the firm, told Billboard

Tyne Parrish also added "We aren't the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music. He is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music."

Later, Brittany Aldean claimed on Instagram that some of her recent comments had been "taken out of context," but she did not say which comments she felt had been misconstrued
