The 32-year-old LaTisha Chong, a hairstylist who worked with Serena Williams and Telfar Clemens, passed away.
Breast cancer that had spread was the official cause of death.
She was named by the British Fashion Council to the Top 50 New Wave Creatives in 2022.
Her last project was with Serena Jameka Williams (born September 26, 1981), an American professional tennis player.
Serena Williams was one of Chong's clients; the two collaborated on the star athlete's September issue of American Vogue.
In addition, Chong collaborated with multihyphenate Tracee Ellis Ross on a number of projects, including the Pattern Beauty advertisements at the Met Gala
Ellis did condolence on her death and commented which reads as “LaTisha had a real love of natural textured hair and that is what brought our work together.
Latisha Chong was battling against Breast Cancer. It spread to other regions of her body and cause her death
